The instrumental “early rough mix” found on disc 3 of Cherry Red’s 4xCD “expanded Digipak edition” of Reformation! Post-TLC (2020) is the only version of “Blonde” currently available. It is credited to “The Fall”, but the uninformative liner notes don’t say exactly when or where it was recorded or who played on it. I have dated it to 2020, its official release date, but presumably the recording took place c.2007.
There are no known live performances.
The Track Record says of this track, “An instrumental with a bluesy feel which chord/riff wise bears a passing resemblance to T. Rex’s “Jeepster”.”
