Commentary
I sang snippets of the songs’ lyrics and titles in ‘Overture From “I Am Curious, Orange”’. This came about on the occasion Mark didn’t show up at the studio. My vocals are deep and masculine because I was trying to imitate Mark.

Credited to Brix Smith, this track is a collage of lines from other songs by The Fall, mainly but not exclusively from I Am Kurious, Oranj or the previous album, The Frenz Experiment. It served as the opening – on tape, apparently – of performances of I Am Curious, Orange.
Note that the song title retains the title of the ballet, rather than adopting the adjusted spelling of the album.
